SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The guidelines are as simple as 1 – 2 – 3:
1 – Click the [submit entry] button next to the Title of the anthology.
2 – Type the anthology title in the subject area of the email window.
3 – Include your entry and personal information in the body of the email and push SEND. (Please DO NOT include attachments! They are routed to the SPAM folder.)

It’s that easy!

All entries must meet the individual anthology word count EXACTLY to be considered. All submissions are considered for inclusion based on the ability to create a vivid picture, evoke an emotional response, and express a unique perspective. Any form of writing that fits the word count guidelines will be considered (poetry, prose, lists, etc.). Let your imagination loose. There is no set theme for each anthology other than whatever the name for that particular anthology inspires in you. You may send submissions for as many titles as you like. One submission per title please.

Your entries MUST meet the word limit to be considered. You will be contacted if your entry is considered for publication. Your submission grants Anthology Publishing permission to publish your entry in a printed book and online references.

    THE FINE PRINT:

    GUIDELINES
    Anthology Publishing welcomes submissions that artfully address each anthology topic. All work must be original and unpublished by any other literary publication. By submitting an entry to Anthology Publishing you confirm that you are the sole creator of the entry and that you hold all rights to your piece.

    All entries must meet the individual anthology word count to be considered. All submissions are considered for inclusion based on the ability to create a vivid picture, evoke an emotional response, and express a unique perspective. Any form of writing that fits the word count guidelines will be considered (poetry, prose, lists, etc.). There is no set theme for each anthology other than whatever the name for that particular anthology inspires in you. You may send submissions for as many titles as you like. One submission per title please.

    We prefer that you submit your poems in the body of your e-mail; however, if your entry contain special formatting use the space bar instead of the tab key. With all submissions, please include your name and e-mail address. We do not need an author bio at the time of submission.

    RIGHTS AND PERMISSIONS
    By submitting your entry to Anthology Publishing, you attest that your writing is your own original creation and that your submission has not appeared in any other publication. Your entries MUST meet the word limit to be considered. You will be contacted if your entry is considered for publication. Your submission grants Anthology Publishing permission to publish your entry in a printed book and online references.

    You also agree to the following terms by virtue of submitting an entry to Anthology Publishing:

    If your writing is selected for publication, we ask for first North American serial rights and first electronic rights. In addition, we ask that none of the accepted writing appear anywhere online or in print in North America for one year after its exclusive appearance with Anthology Publishing. After this period, reproduction rights revert back to the writer. We also ask for the right to archive your work on our website after the initial publication. (You are free to publish your work elsewhere after the exclusive one year publication time has elapsed.) In any subsequent release of the material (online or in print), we ask that you acknowledge Anthology Publishing.

    COMPENSATION
    At this time the compensation for accepted work is a discounted rate on the purchase of any anthology that contains your submissions. The amount of discount to be determined at time of publication.

    ARTWORK AND PHOTOGRAPHS
    If you choose to submit artwork or photographs with your entry we are open to all mediums, but pieces must be submitted electronically. Any entries included for publication will be reproduced in black and white in the printed anthologies with the possibility of being used in color on the website. Please submit pieces that will translate well in both contexts. We are looking for pieces that highlight the human experience and accentuate your written entry in a significant way. Submit digital artwork at 300 dpi. You must be the sole creator and hold all rights to your piece.

    CONTRACT
    By submitting my literary, artwork or photographic submission(s) to Anthology Publishing I agree to these terms and conditions. I certify that all material submitted is original, created wholly by me, and unpublished in any other literary publication, whether in print or online. If this piece has been published by any other publication, I agree to disclose the publication title and date to Anthology Publishing, and I certify that the previous publication does not still hold the rights to this piece. Upon acceptance of my submission, I release first print and online publication rights from this point forward to Anthology Publishing. I understand that after publication I may submit this work for publication elsewhere as a previously published piece. I understand that all selected literary pieces may be professionally edited, and I agree to cooperate with Anthology Publishing editors during the editorial process. This cooperation includes considering developmental feedback, accepting grammatical edits, and returning revised material by the specified deadlines. I understand that all selected artwork must be supplied in a high-resolution jpeg (300 dpi or higher) and agree to provide that to Anthology Publishing upon request. Any deviance from this agreement will result in a retraction from publication. I understand that Anthology Publishing is under no obligation to publish the concerned piece(s), even after acceptance.
